Anno Hideaki: The four EVA movies are very different from the TV version and may not be truly complete

From the original TV version to the recently released "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Evangelion", after 25 years, the growth story of EVA seems to have come to an end. However, its biological father, director Hideaki Anno, said in an interview with foreign media recently that although the current stage has ended, there may be a chance to see it again in the future.

The four EVA theatrical versions are reconstructions of the original TV animation version broadcast from 1995 to 1996. In fact, the first part is almost exactly the same as the TV version. The story begins to change in the second part. By the third part and the fourth part that was released recently, it has become a completely different work, and there is no trace of the TV version of that year.

When asked about his feelings when saying goodbye to 25 years of EVA, Hideaki Anno said that although the current stage has ended, it does not mean that he does not want to see Shinji and others again, and perhaps the opportunity to meet again will come.
