The official website of the completely new animated film "Slam Dunk" has released a new poster. The animation will be released in the fall of 2022, and the supervision and script will be handled by the original author Takehiko Inoue.

"Slam Dunk" is a basketball manga published by Takehiko Inoue from 1990 to 1996, and an adapted TV animation was released in 1993.

As of mid-2018, the cumulative sales of this work in Japan have exceeded 120 million copies, which can be said to be one of the most influential comics in modern times. There are three versions of the comic, namely, the single volume, the complete edition, and the newly reorganized edition.
