Many Marvel movies postponed due to Blade

Fans who like Marvel movies are going to be disappointed. Today (October 12), Disney and Marvel announced that due to the suspension of filming of the movie "New Blade", a series of Marvel movies will be postponed. The affected films include "Avengers 6" and the story promotion of the entire Marvel Universe will also be affected.

"Blade" was postponed from its original release date of November 3, 2023 to September 6, 2024;

Deadpool 3 was postponed from its original release date of September 6 to November 8, 2024;

Fantastic Four was postponed from its original release date of November 8, 2024 to February 14, 2025.

The release schedule of Avengers: Reign of Kang remains unchanged and will still be released on May 2, 2025;

Avengers: Secret War has been pushed back from its original release date of November 7, 2025 to May 1, 2026.

In addition, several Marvel Universe movies that have not yet been officially released have also chosen to be postponed to varying degrees.

The reason for the postponement of the release of many Marvel films is said to be due to the suspension of filming of the new "Blade" movie. The film lost its director some time ago, and Disney is currently looking for a new director for it.

Due to the postponement of many Marvel Universe-related films mentioned above, the sixth phase originally scheduled to start in 2024 will also be postponed to 2025.
