Poirot film "The Phantom of Venice" starts filming this Halloween

According to foreign media reports, following "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile", the third detective Poirot film "A Haunting in Venice" will start shooting during Halloween this year. Kenneth Branagh will return as director and continue to play Poirot.

Earlier, 20th Century Fox said: "Michael Green wrote the script for the third part. This movie will be different. The story takes place in post-war Venice and will be adapted from a not-so-well-known novel. I believe people will see the mustache on the screen again soon."

According to foreign media reports, the film tells the story of: In Venice after World War II, the now retired Poirot lives in exile. He reluctantly participates in a spiritualist ceremony, and when a guest is murdered, the former detective is needed to uncover the murderer again.

20th Century Fox announced that Chinese-American actress Michelle Yeoh will join the film, and Jamie Dornan, Kelly Reilly, Kyle Allen and others will also star in the film.
