The TV version of "Halo" may have some deviations from the game plot

As early as 2013, 343 Studios cooperated with the American paid Showtime to shoot a live-action TV series of "Halo". The famous director Spielberg served as the senior producer, and Neill Blomkamp ("District 9" and "Chappie") served as the director. At today's restart development meeting, Kiki Wolfkil, the producer of 343 Studios, said that the TV version of "Halo" will not have a high degree of fit with the plot of the game.

Kiki Wolfkil did not reveal what the differences would be between the TV series and the game plots, but she still believes that the TV series' primary task should be to respect the IP, and the crew will only restore some important game plot details. Kiki Wolfkil said: "The TV series will re-process many details in the game plot. I have great respect for the fans and hope that they can continue to love the Halo IP. In addition, some dates, places and races of characters will be changed in the TV series."

Of course, no matter what changes are made, there will be people who strongly question the 9-episode "Halo" TV series. However, the crew hopes to do their best to make the new series. As a first-person shooter game, no matter in movies, novels, comics and animations, no game IP can do better than "Halo", but unfortunately, all the big-budget live-action projects of "Halo" have failed.

Despite the failure of all previous major projects, the new TV series has been in production since it was announced in 2013, and the details of the series have not been officially released to everyone, but the production team still has strong confidence in themselves. Kyle Killen, the screenwriter of the TV version of "Halo", believes that the new series is a more appropriate choice to be broadcast in 2020.
