There's an Easter egg in the live-action Fallout series that the creative team didn't know about, but players spotted it right away

The live-action drama "Fallout", adapted from the game of the same name, can be regarded as one of the most successful adapted series in the first half of 2024. The drama contains many easter eggs from the game, which makes many fans satisfied.

Recently, in an interview with foreign media "PC Gamer", Michael Harvey, head of the makeup department of the "Fallout" live-action drama, revealed that there is an Easter egg in the series that even the screenwriter and other creative staff (including director Nolan, who claims to be a fanatical fan of the "Fallout" series) did not discover, but was recognized as real by players at first sight.

It turns out that during the production of the series, director Jonathan Nolan explicitly told Michael Harvey to "use the game as a reference, follow the essence of the game, and draw elements from the game", but "don't copy anything."

However, Michael decided to break the rules and arranged a character in the play to be dressed exactly like a character in the game. Since it was a passerby character who was not important enough, Nolan and others did not notice it, but sharp-eyed game players directly spotted this Easter egg.

This character is Cricket, the wandering merchant who appeared in Fallout 4, and occasionally stopped outside Diamond City and Shelter 81. In the live-action series, a character with a very similar outfit appeared around the 23rd minute of episode 5, and the close-up when he passed by the protagonist clearly showed the similarity between the two.
