With the monster blockbuster "Godzilla vs. Kong" about to be released at the end of the month, bookmaker BetOnline used geo-tagged Twitter data to determine how many people in each state posted using "TeamGodzilla" or "TeamKong" and created a battle map. The map shows that Godzilla was selected as the preferred winner of the final battle by 41 states, and only citizens of Massachusetts, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Kansas, Montana and Idaho voted for King Kong to win the century showdown. Godzilla's overall support rate is so high that the topic "NeverKong" appeared on Twitter to oppose King Kong's victory. Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard has previously assured fans that there will be a clear winner in this showdown. Are you on Godzilla or Kong's side? |
