The movie "Highlights," starring Ryan Reynolds, is set to hit theaters on August 13, but that hasn't stopped director Shawn Levy from making sequels to the film, which he hopes will include "Call of Duty" and "Minecraft." In an interview with Gamespot, Shawn Levy talked about future storylines that Ryan Reynolds' NPC character might enter after his debut, and the director has some different ideas for the sequel. Shawn Levy said: "I want to see how he performs in Call of Duty. I think the possibilities for comedy and other things are endless, whether it's comedy or action, which is very interesting to think about." He also admitted that he would like to see NPCs perform in Minecraft. He said: "I would be lying if I didn't admit that we have started brainstorming some of these possibilities." In addition to this, in the interview, Shawn Levy further discussed his hopes for a potential sequel, explaining: It would be exciting to see our characters experience different world-building elements that are popular in video game culture. "We all know the scope of the world creation, and it covers all areas of the video game world and video game culture," Shawn Levy said. "So I've loved seeing him and maybe even jumping from one place to another." |
