Henry, the star of the live-action drama "The Witcher": I will continue filming even if there are seven seasons

In 2019, Lauren Hissrich, the creator of The Witcher, said she had a seven-season plan for the show. At the time, the first season of the show had not yet aired, so the plan seemed a bit optimistic. But the show was well received after it aired, so this plan may not be out of reach.

The good news is that if Netflix decides to really shoot a seven-season series, Henry Cavill, who plays Geralt, is ready. When talking about this plan in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said: "Absolutely (will continue to shoot), as long as we continue to tell great stories that pay tribute to (The Witcher original author) Sapkowski's work."

In the same interview, Hissrich confirmed recent comments that Cavill will play a more "intelligent" Geralt in The Witcher Season 2, and credited him with helping to flesh out the idea. "A lot of the notes he sent me [after Season 1] were about Geralt's dialogue - first of all, could he have more lines," Hissrich said. "Everyone who watched Season 1 found Geralt's anger humorous and endearing. But Henry said, when you read the novels, a lot of the pages are devoted to Geralt's inner monologue. So how do we show that in the show? At the same time, I wanted to tell the story of him becoming a father figure to Ciri. So those two things came together in a wonderful way. He opens up and allows Ciri to trust him by speaking more about what's going on inside her."

The Witcher Season 2 premieres on December 17 and will feature more characters, including Geralt's wizard friends Vesemir, Eskel and Lambert at Kaer Morhen Castle.
