"X-Men: New Mutants" will wrap up this week, director posts stencil photo online

Josh Boone, the director of the comic book movie "X-Men: New Mutants" produced by Fox, posted a picture of the board on the social networking site, indicating that the filming of the film is about to end. In addition, the logo of the film has also been made public.

"X-Men: New Mutants" will be directed by Josh Boone, the director of the youth romance film "The Fault in Our Stars", and is expected to be developed into a new "X-Men" film series with Professor X, Wolfsbane, Mysterio, Sunspot, Mirage, Vision, and Cannon. Director Boone previously stated that the film will be a horror movie from beginning to end. In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, he talked about the tone of the film. He pointed out that this film will be different from the superhero movies that everyone has seen so far, and it will eliminate the stereotypes that superhero movies have become the norm.

The New Mutants brings together a large number of Hollywood's new generation actors, including Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), etc. James McAvoy will also join the cast to continue playing the role of Professor X in his youth, leading the young actors to save the world.

"The New Mutants" is scheduled to be released on April 13, 2018.
