Revealed: Avengers actor pay: "Iron Man" Downey gets 500 million for one movie

According to multiple foreign media sources, "Iron Man" Robert Downey Jr. took at least $75 million (about 500 million RMB) for filming "Avengers 3". His contract with Marvel is very special and has lasted for many years, so he can now get a very high salary. For example, he only took 3 days to film "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and still took $5 million (about 33.66 million RMB).

"Black Widow" Scarlett Johansson will receive around 20 million US dollars (about 130 million RMB) for the independent film of Black Widow (to be released in 2020), in which she will serve as both the leading actress and producer.

"Captain America" Chris Evans and "Thor" Chris Hemsworth have both renegotiated their contracts, and the pay they agreed on for "Avengers 3" and "Avengers 4" is 15 million to 20 million US dollars (about 100 million to 130 million RMB).

Marvel has also been raising the threshold for stars to receive box office dividends. It was said that the global box office once exceeded $500 million, then it rose to $700 million. Now, especially for the "Avengers" movie, the dividend threshold has risen to $1.5 billion. (Neither Marvel nor the actors responded to this)

The new Marvel series on Disney+, starring actors such as "Scarlet Witch" Elizabeth Olsen, "Falcon" Anthony Mackie, "Bucky" Sebastian Stan and "Hawkeye" Jeremy Renner, have negotiated contracts that are separate from the movie, reportedly including 6-8 episodes. This does not prevent them from continuing to star in Marvel movies in the future, but the contracts may have to be negotiated separately.
