"Soul" wins Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film

The 78th Golden Globe Awards for American Film and Television was held on March 1, Beijing time. Pixar's new animation "Soul" won the Best Animated Feature Film Award and is expected to continue to challenge for the Oscar.

Soul won the Best Animation Award and the Best Original Score Award by defeating Wolfwalkers, Over the Moon, Onward, and The Croods 2 with its high reputation. Afterwards, the producer Pixar posted on Weibo, "Thank you for your support and love."

Soul is directed by Pete Docter and voiced by Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey and others. The film tells the story of "Joey Garner" who dreams of becoming a jazz pianist and the encounter between the world-weary soul "22", and the two return to the real world together to find the meaning of life.

"Soul" has a Douban score of 8.8 points. It has been released in China for 67 days and has accumulated a box office of 374 million yuan.
