The hit action comedy romance "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" will be made into a TV series, with black actor Donald Glover and white actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge co-starring and serving as the main creator and executive producer. The two played the human-machine partner Lando and L3-37 in "Solo: A Star Wars Story", and also created and starred in the popular comedies "Atlanta" and "London Fleabag".

The Mr. and Mrs. Smith TV series is co-created and produced by New Regency and Amazon Studios producer Francesca Sloane (Fargo, Atlanta), who said she will strive to make it popular with today's audiences and fans of the original movie, and will be launched in 2022.

The series is adapted from the 2005 hit movie of the same name, focusing on a couple who don't know each other is a super spy. It is directed by Doug Liman and stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Hitchcock first released Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 1941, which was mainly about marriage.
