Actor Frankie Boyle auditioned for the role of Marcus in Borderlands

Controversial comedian Frankie Boyle says he auditioned for the role of Marcus Kincaid in the live-action Borderlands film, but was ultimately rejected despite shaving his beard and pre-recording a video for the role.

In the Borderlands live-action movie, Marcus is played by Benjamin Byron Davis, who is best known to gamers for playing Dutch van der Linde, the leader of the Van der Linde gang in Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2.
