'Spider-Man' Director Joe Watts Cancels 'Double Wolf' Movie Sequel

Joe Watts, the director of the Dutch version of the "Spider-Man" trilogy, revealed that he canceled the sequel to the "Wolf" movie starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

Jon Watts is suspected to be dissatisfied with Apple's decision to cancel the theatrical release of the first "Two Wolves" movie and directly transfer it to streaming media.

He said: "I quietly refunded the money they gave me for the sequel... Apple didn't cancel the sequel to "Two Wolves", I canceled it because I no longer trusted them as a creative partner."

"Two Wolves" is a 2024 American action comedy film written and directed by Joe Watts, starring and produced by George Clooney and Brad Pitt. The plot tells the story of two traitors who find themselves hired for the same job, which forces them to work together. "Two Wolves" was released in limited release in the United States on September 20, 2024, and was launched globally on Apple TV+ on September 27, 2024, breaking Apple TV+ records in terms of viewing numbers.
