Fantastic Beasts star auditioned for BioShock

A few years ago, Universal Pictures was planning to make a film based on the BioShock game series. The project was eventually canceled due to budget reasons, but while the film was still in preparation, some famous Hollywood actors tried to seek a role in the film.

Eddie Redmayne, known for starring in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and "The Danish Girl," mentioned this in a recent variety show while talking to the famous British actor Jamie Dornan.

Redmayne said that at one point, while Dornan was living with him, they found themselves auditioning for the BioShock movie at the same time as each other. "Do you remember BioShock?" Redmayne asked. "When we were going through that, we were both really angry with each other because we were competing for the same role."

We don't know the final result of Redmayne and Dornan's participation in the "BioShock" movie. The movie did not enter the production stage. In fact, no actor has publicly revealed that he was involved in the "BioShock" movie before. "Pirates of the Caribbean" director Gore Verbinski once wanted to make this movie, but ultimately withdrew from it.
