Behind-the-scenes special of "The Order of the Samurai" starring Chen Kun and Zhou Xun, with over 2,300 special effects shots

The fantasy film “The Order of the Samurai”, adapted from NetEase’s mobile game “Onmyoji” and starring Chen Kun and Zhou Xun, released a behind-the-scenes special today (January 8). The film will be released on the first day of the Lunar New Year.

"The meticulous craftsmanship and ingenious craftsmanship are praised. Teams from four countries worked together to build the "Sunny Courtyard" in a 5,000-square-meter studio. There were more than 2,300 visual effects shots, and nearly 5,000 people participated in the production. IMAX full-frame cameras, 360-degree panoramic scanning, MOCO special shots, and all the technologies needed for visual effects movies were fully displayed."

Starring Chen Kun, Zhou Xun, William Chan, Qu Chuxiao, Likun Wang, Shen Yue, Wang Zixuan and Wang Yueyi, The Order of the Samurai tells the story of Qingming, an onmyoji who travels between the human and demon worlds, and signs a contract with a group of demons. When the situation changes suddenly and turbulent, they trust each other and jointly protect Pingjing City.
