The Silence of the Lambs spin-off "Clarice" released a preview trailer and will be broadcast on February 11, 2021

The spin-off series "Clarice", which is based on "The Silence of the Lambs", has released a teaser trailer. The series will premiere on February 11, 2021 and will tell the story one year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs".

Clarice trailer:

Rebecca Breeds (The Originals, Pretty Little Liars) plays Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster in the movie version), who is smart and fragile. She graduated from the University of Virginia with honors and became an FBI agent. Her bravery is like a light that attracts monsters and lunatics. Her childhood experiences have shaped her complex nature, and the oppression and entanglement of family secrets make her want to escape.

The series tells the story of 1993, one year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs", when Clarice Starling returns to the front line to hunt serial killers and sex offenders, while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington. Alex Kurtzman ("The Mummy", "Star Trek: Discovery") and Jenny Lumet ("Rachel's Wedding", "Star Trek: Discovery") serve as writers and executive producers.
