Disney's "Player" and "Death on the Nile" withdrawn from theaters

It seems that due to the ongoing epidemic, Disney has withdrawn two of its films. "Player" starring Ryan Reynolds and "Death on the Nile" starring Gal Gadot have disappeared from the December list (both films are released by 20th Century Fox).

"Player" was originally scheduled to be released on December 11, and "Death on the Nile" was originally scheduled to be released on December 18. After the withdrawal, the new release dates of these two films have not yet been determined.

This is a decision made by a large company in the face of the epidemic. Disney has previously confirmed that Pixar's new animated film "Soul" will abandon its theatrical release and decide to broadcast it online on the Disney+ streaming platform this Christmas (but similar to the previous "Mulan", the film will still be released in theaters in mainland China).

Not long ago, the release dates of "No Time to Die" and "Fast & Furious 9" were also postponed to 2021.

Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman 1984 may be the only major movie scheduled for a December 2020 release, although the film's director said in September that the release date might change.
