Liu Cixin's novel adaptation film "Full-Band Blocking Interference" officially launched

The previous rumors came true. After "The Wandering Earth", another science fiction novel by Liu Cixin was adapted into a big screen. According to media reports, the National Film Administration's May 2020 project approval announcement showed that the film "Full-Band Blocking Interference", adapted from Liu Cixin's novel of the same name, was officially approved. The film's filing unit is Beijing Juhe Yinglian Cultural Media Co., Ltd., and Yi Changchun is the screenwriter.

However, in the eyes of most science fiction fans, it remains to be seen whether this movie can be as successful as Liu Cixin's adaptations such as "The Wandering Earth".

According to the announcement, the plot of the film is as follows: In the future, the rapid development of science and technology has intensified the contradictions between humans and triggered large-scale disputes. We have created full-band blocking interference, eliminated the technological gap, and crushed the conspiracy of the villains.

According to the information, "Full-Band Blocking Interference" is a science fiction novel published by Liu Cixin in 2009. There are two versions of the book. Except for the background setting of one in Russia and the other in China, the basic content is the same. Judging from the current plot synopsis, the filming should be the Chinese version.

It is worth mentioning that the plot in the movie "The Wandering Earth" where Wu Jing's character drives the space station into Mars actually has a similar scene in "Full-Band Interference".
