"John Wick" will create a themed roller coaster where passengers can enjoy the scenery of mainland hotels

With three successful movies, two upcoming sequels, a video game and other peripheral products, John Wick has become an important IP under Lionsgate. According to Variety, Lionsgate is planning to build a 10-story themed roller coaster for this star IP and place it at Dubai Cinemagate.

Note: Motiongate Dubai is jointly created by DreamWorks Animation, Sony Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate. It is located in Dubai Parks and Resorts and has roller coasters, immersive attractions and thrilling rides, recreating the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.

It is reported that the theme roller coaster of "John Wick" is scheduled to open next year. Passengers can choose to help John Wick or hunt him down. Different options will lead tourists to different routes. However, the destination of these two choices seems to be the same. It is worth mentioning that the queue of the roller coaster is designed based on the iconic Continental Hotel in "John Wick".

"I think it's going to be great for fans to have the opportunity to walk through the lobby of the Continental and experience key moments from the film," said Jennifer Brown, executive vice president of Lionsgate.

In addition, Lionsgate has a "Now You See Me" themed roller coaster under construction, with a casino theme, where visitors can experience the exciting robbery plot in the movie. These rides will debut in Dubai, but Lionsgate said they have set their sights on other markets, hoping to expand the scale of their theme parks around the world like their competitors Disney and Universal Pictures.
