Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba's single volume sales exceed 100 million! The 8th work in the history of JUMP series to exceed 100 million

Although it has been completed, its sales volume once surpassed "One Piece"; its social influence is not inferior to "Attack on Titan" of that year. The hottest comic recently is "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba". The official recently announced that the combined sales of 22 volumes released on October 2, the cumulative sales of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" has exceeded 100 million, making it the eighth work in the history of JUMP to exceed 100 million.

"Demon Slayer" is a fantasy manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge. It tells the story of the Japanese Taisho period, when it is said that after the sun sets, demons come out to eat people. There are also demon hunters who kill demons and protect people. The ordinary and happy daily life of Tanjiro, a charcoal seller, changed drastically on the day his family was attacked by demons. His mother and four younger siblings were brutally killed, and his sister Nezuko, who survived with him, also turned into a ferocious demon. In order to cut off the chain of sadness, the boy never stopped fighting with demons.

Although the JUMP series has produced countless popular classic comics in its history, only seven works have been able to break the 100 million mark in total sales, namely: Akimoto Osamu's "Uryū Police Station", Toriyama Akira's "Dragon Ball", Araki Hirohiko's "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", Inoue Takehiko's "Slam Dunk", Oda Eiichiro's "One Piece", Kishimoto Masashi's "Naruto" and Kubo Taito's "Bleach".
