The Witcher Season 2 writing team announced many DC Marvel TV series crews

The second season of Netflix's "The Witcher" TV series, "The Witcher: Bloodline Origins", will focus on the prequel. Recently, the "The Witcher" Season 2 team celebrated the announcement of the screenwriter lineup, most of which came from previous DC and Marvel TV series writing teams.

Many screenwriters of The Witcher TV Series Season 2, The Witcher: Bloodline Origins, have worked at Marvel or DC before, such as Moon Knight, Swamp Thing, and the TV series Snowpiercer. The screenwriter team of The Witcher: Bloodline Origins is led by the famous screenwriter Declan De Barra, who worked on the first season of The Witcher and the Marvel Iron Fist series.

In addition, Lauren S. Hissrich, producer of "The Witcher" TV series, also tweeted to congratulate the announcement of the writing team of "The Witcher" TV series Season 2 "The Witcher: Bloodline Origins". She said: The team is like family, and family is everything.

The story of The Witcher: Bloodline Origins is set in the elf world 1200 years before The Witcher. It tells the origin of the demon hunters and the "celestial conjunction" event that led to the intersection of the human, elf and monster worlds. Declan de Bara, the screenwriter of The Witcher, is the playwright, and Andrzej Sapkowski, the author of The Witcher novel, is the producer and creative consultant. The series has a total of 6 episodes.

Previously, there were rumors that "Aquaman" Jason Momoa might star in "The Witcher: Bloodline", and the second season of "The Witcher" has resumed filming. The second season no longer has multiple story lines, but there will be an original character that did not appear in the original novel or the game, an important demon hunter. At present, the specific broadcast time of "The Witcher" Season 2 has not been determined, and the producer has said that it will be released sometime in 2021.
