Jenkins will bid farewell to the third film of the "Wonder Woman" series and become the final chapter of his directorial career

With the 2017 Wonder Woman movie, director Patty Jenkins brought a new look to the DC universe and made Gal Gadot a top Hollywood actress. The sequel Wonder Woman 2 is also directed by Jenkins and is currently scheduled to be released on October 2, 2020. Jenkins also said that after Wonder Woman 2, there will be an Amazon spin-off series, and then Wonder Woman 3.

Recently, Jenkins said in an interview with the German magazine Geek that the next "Wonder Woman" movie, "Wonder Woman 3", will be her last movie in the series. After the filming of the film is completed, she will bid farewell to the series.

Jenkins said: "Wonder Woman 2 gives me an opportunity to do a lot of things that I couldn't do in the first movie, and I'm very happy to tell the story of Wonder Woman." She added: "I'm very excited to show everyone the power of Wonder Woman at her peak. But she is struggling inside. She is a goddess trying to help mankind. Not only to fight evil, but also to persuade those bad guys how to reform."

As for the future, Jenkins said: "Wonder Woman 3 may be the last series I direct. I will put my ideas out there. This is an interesting problem, so we must think more carefully about how to make this movie well."
