The Monster Hunter movie has been filmed and the director promises that players will be surprised

The live-action movie "Monster Hunter" has now been postponed to be released in North America on April 23, 2021. Recently, director Paul Anderson said in an interview with foreign media Syfy Wire that the movie "Monster Hunter" has been filmed and is 100% complete. He also guaranteed that the movie will surprise the players.

The "Monster Hunter" movie was produced by Sony Pictures at a cost of 60 million US dollars and directed by Paul Anderson, the director of the previous "Resident Evil" and the husband of Milla Jovovich, the star of this "Monster Hunter" movie. Paul Anderson said that the "Monster Hunter" movie is his favorite movie at present. When the "Monster Hunter" series was not popular in Europe and the United States, he was already a senior hunter for 10 years. In the interview, he also praised Capcom for its detailed description of the ecology of this fantasy world in the game.

In order to make the movie look lifelike, the live-action "Monster Hunter" was filmed in a sparsely populated place in Africa. Paul Anderson said that all the scenes in the movie, including forests and deserts, were not computer animations synthesized using green screens, but real scenes. Therefore, the trees, water, halos, and even the dust in the air in the movie are very real.

The only things that were CG were the monsters. During the filming, the crew lived in tents, hundreds of miles away from the nearest town. Paul Anderson said: "When the movie is released next year, I believe the world of the movie will surprise the players of Monster Hunter."

The live-action "Monster Hunter" movie will be released in North America on April 23, 2021.
