Voting for the 35th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Awards begins, with "Dying to Survive" and "Nezha" and "The Wandering Earth" among the nominees

The voting for the 35th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Awards has been announced to start, and the list of candidates has also been released. Audiences can vote from now until August 25, 2020. After the voting, the vote counting center designated by the organizing committee will count the audience voting results and select the nominees for each award of the 35th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Awards based on the statistical results.

The 10 candidate films (not the final nominations) are "My People, My Country", "Dying to Survive", "Nezha: The Devil Child Comes into the World", "The Wandering Earth", "The Captain", "Better Days", "The Accidental Detective", "The Bravest", "The Climbers" and "The Wandering Earth".

Candidates for Best Actor include Wang Qianyuan, Simon Yam, Du Jiang, Xiao Yang, Wu Jing, Zhang Yi, Zhang Hanyu, Chow Yun-fat, Xu Zheng, Aaron Kwok, Huang Bo, Huang Xiaoming, and Ge You.

Candidates for Best Actress include Ren Suxi, Tong Liya, Song Jia, Zhang Jingchu, Zhou Dongyu, Zhao Jinmai, Zhang Ziyi, Kara Hui, and Tan Zhuo.
