Bubbles is set in Tokyo, where gravity has ceased to exist. A boy and a girl fall in love with each other, and bubbles rain down from all over the world, breaking the laws of gravity. The story begins in Tokyo, completely cut off from the outside world, and becomes a playground for a group of young orphans. They form groups, jump between buildings, and stage parkour battles.

Hibiki, a young player who has made a name for himself with his dangerous gaming style, accidentally slips and falls into the sea where gravity is reversed. Fortunately, he is rescued by Shi, a girl who possesses a mysterious power. Then, the two of them hear a unique sound that no one else can hear. Why does Shi appear in front of Hibiki? The two meet and then uncover a truth that can change the world.

"Bubble" is produced by WIT Studio, with an extremely luxurious creative lineup, including director: Tetsuro Araki, screenwriter: Gen Urobuchi, original character design: Obata Takeshi, music: Hiroyuki Sawano. The art pictures of many protagonists designed by Obata Takeshi that were released this time include Jun Shison, Mamoru Miyano, Yuki Kaji, Tasuku Hatakenaka, etc.
