"Fallout" live-action drama screenwriter discusses the future: There are still many things I want to try

Fallout co-writer Graham Wagner said he's still looking forward to doing more in this universe, hinting that there are plans for more seasons in the future.

In the latest issue of SFX magazine, Wagner said in an interview: "There are still many things we want to do. We want to slow down the pace and not finish everything in 8 episodes, because the game is thousands of hours long."

He continued: "In many ways, Fallout is about who can rebuild the world, which faction and what organization can rebuild society, because then it will be their society. I think the theme of family is very much alive because the most fundamental building block of society is family. We want those themes to be alive with the stories we tell."

The Fallout TV series, based on the game, is set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. The protagonist Lucy is a resident of the shelter who is forced to venture to the surface for the first time for some reason. The show is written by Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet and produced by Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan. It will premiere on April 11.
