IGN Rating: 10 points masterpiece

Matt Reeves' interpretation of the violent, thrilling and dark aesthetic of "Batman" fully proves its position in the classic "Batman" series of films.

IGN's overall review:

Batman is a gripping, gorgeous, and somewhat terrifying psychological crime thriller that sees Bruce Wayne return to his detective roots. Robert Pattinson is great as Batman, but Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Paul Dano as The Riddler are even better. Catwoman is a moving performance, while The Riddler is unhinged and terrifying. Matt Reeves has managed to make a Batman movie that is completely different from other live-action movies, but is still true to the Gotham legend. Ultimately, this iconic character has earned his place in the series.
