"The Batman" GS 6 points: Robert Pattinson lacks the charm of Batman

The latest work in DC's "Batman" series, "The New Batman", will be released in North America on March 4, 2022. Recently, foreign media Gamespot gave it a score of 6. Gamespot said that the film was average and the starring Robert Pattinson lacked the charm of Batman.

Gamespot said that "The New Batman" successfully told a story in less than half the time, which is undoubtedly an achievement considering the amazing length of three hours. But in the three-hour length, the image of Batman somehow feels too scattered, too sparse and piled up. The Riddler played by Paul Dano is absolutely creepy, and Robert Pattinson is a weak link. Although he does look like Batman, it is hard to imagine that a dual-identity character like Batman has no more ways to express himself. He is sullen, his eyes are empty, he is angry, his shoulders are drooped, and he is completely unwilling to speak under the mask.
