The comic-adapted costume historical legendary drama "The Long Ballad" starring Dilraba Dilmurat and Wu Lei has released its first trailer and character posters. The drama is produced by Huace Film & TV and Penguin Pictures, directed by Zhu Ruibin, and has a total of 50 episodes. It stars Liu Yuning, Zhao Lusi, Fang Yilun and others, and will be exclusively broadcast on Tencent Video at a time to be determined.

"The Long Ballad" is adapted from Xia Da's comic of the same name, which won the China Animation Golden Monkey Award and the Golden Dragon Award. It is set in the Tang Dynasty and tells the story of Princess Yongning Li Changge who is determined to avenge her homeland after fleeing.

Plot summary: In the ninth year of Tang Wude, the inner court changed. Li Changge (played by Dilireba), the daughter of the former prince, escaped by chance and went to Youzhou for help. On the way, Changge met Ashina Falcon (played by Wu Lei), a special agent of the grassland tribe, who was aliased as Qin Zhun. The two did not know each other after fighting, and gradually developed a feeling of heroism. Changge smashed a conspiracy in Youzhou, and at the same time her identity was exposed, and she went to Shuozhou to avoid disaster. She hid beside Gongsun Heng, the governor of Shuozhou, to help him fight against the invasion of grassland forces, but she did not expect that the enemy general Falcon was an old acquaintance of Qin Zhun. Changge was shocked and heartbroken, and fought against Falcon. However, Shuozhou fell in the end. Changge was willing to become a prisoner of war for the overall situation and was taken to the grassland, but she accidentally learned that the Khan had other ambitions. Changge decided to put aside her personal grudges for the time being and risked her life to break the situation. Unexpectedly, she was trapped in a dead end. Falcon was willing to be the enemy of the Khan to save Changge, but the two were separated by accident. Changge went into exile and experienced the turbulent times. She gradually understood the truth that benevolence is invincible and finally let go of her personal grudges. After discovering that the former Sui forces were the masterminds behind the incident, Changge and Falcon joined forces to protect the peace between the Tang Dynasty and the grassland. The two finally recognized their feelings for each other and joined hands to face the crisis.
