Voice actor Haruna Fuuka sues online trolls and will receive compensation of more than 3 million yen

The defendant in this lawsuit is willing to pay 3.154 million yen in compensation to achieve an out-of-court settlement. The Yokohama District Court has agreed to withdraw the case and the two parties have entered the stage of negotiating compensation.

The incident originated from the defendant's posting of vile remarks on the Internet, saying that Haruna Fuuka's "parents themselves are failed works (of nature)" . Haruna Fuuka angrily took him to court, and the Tokyo District Judge (Judge Oshima Hiroshi) also stated that this was a clear insult that exceeded the limits of tolerance.
