This documentary about Bruce Lee, "Ruo Shui", provides fans with a better perspective to watch his legendary life instead of letting fans know about his private life.

IGN's overall review:

It is impossible not to admire Bruce Lee, his personal charm bursts from the movie screen and radiates from every TV image. If you are not familiar with Bruce Lee, "If Water" shows a complete Bruce Lee, telling his touching story, showing his self-realization, and he is a person who has always wanted to build a reputation for himself. But the film's attempt to link Bruce Lee with the civil rights movement is unsuccessful, and Bruce Lee is interpreted as a "relatively ordinary person", but everyone is more inclined to regard Bruce Lee as an idol, an ICON of an era.
