Japan's first counterfeit "Demon Slayer" peripheral mobile phone case case was solved and the 34-year-old suspect was arrested

Although the super phenomenon manga "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" has just ended, the subsequent animation peripherals are still gaining momentum. According to Japanese media reports today on June 9, the Fukushima Prefectural Police Department announced the arrest of a 34-year-old man named Kenichiro Sakai who was suspected of counterfeiting "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" peripheral mobile phone cases. This is also the first case of counterfeiting "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" peripherals in Japan.

According to police investigation, 34-year-old Kenichiro Sakai lives in Toride City, Ibaraki Prefecture and is currently unemployed. Based on clues, the police found more than 500 counterfeit mobile phone cases with images of two characters from "Demon Slayer" in his home. The police are currently investigating the source of the counterfeit products.
