British studio gets licensing agreement, and the second season of "The Witcher" may resume filming soon

As the coronavirus pandemic eases in the UK, British studios will slowly reopen. According to Deadline, Arborfield Studios, one of the production companies that closed in response to the coronavirus, will reopen in the coming weeks for the second season of The Witcher.

Bob Terry, general manager of Aberfield Studios, said that with the British government approving a deal for film and television production, work on the reopening of the studio is proceeding in an orderly manner. An industry insider revealed that "this is a green light that the UK will be open again for film and television production business", "Many films must be re-released in the next two months, otherwise they will not be able to be released this year because they rely on summer weather and conditions."

The second season of The Witcher was suspended in London in March this year because Netflix suspended the filming of all movies and TV shows in the United States and Canada. The second season of The Witcher is expected to return next year. It has been confirmed that Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan will return, and many new characters will also join.
