The last episode was published on February 21, 1974. In 2013, the animated version of Sazae-san was certified by the Guinness World Records as the "longest broadcast TV animation". It has been adapted into animations, live-action dramas, stage plays and other derivative works many times.

The official said that due to the epidemic, the production of animation has become difficult, and the new broadcast date will be notified after it is determined. The original schedule on May 17 will rebroadcast old works such as "Husband and Wife Should Communicate Heart to Heart".
