"One Piece" comics are suspended due to the epidemic. Oda: Everyone wait patiently

Due to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, Toei announced in April that the broadcast of the "One Piece" TV animation would be postponed. Recently, Eiichiro Oda sent a picture letter stating that the "One Piece" comics were suspended and explained the reasons.

Eiichiro Oda said: Although I continue to draw comics every day, because the original drawing of "One Piece" is still hand-drawn, it is inevitable to work in a team. The number of assistants has been reduced to a minimum, and I am also living an epidemic prevention life in the most cautious way. However, this method has greatly reduced the speed of work, which still makes people feel a little frustrated. Personally, I think the suspension of serialization will not be too long, but please understand that I am not resting because of physical discomfort, but to maintain the best physical condition and adjust my work style in order to continue drawing.

The TV animation of "One Piece" has not yet resumed broadcasting, but according to Oda, the animation production is still in progress, fully preparing for the day of its official broadcast.
