Game of Thrones spin-off to focus on Targaryen family history 300 years ago

According to multiple foreign media reports, HBO is preparing a second "Game of Thrones" prequel spin-off and is about to book a pilot episode of the prequel, which will tell the rise and fall of the Targaryen family.

Previously, Mr. Martin had stated that "Game of Thrones: A Song of Ice and Fire" will have five spin-off series. Among them, the confirmed "The Long Night" will start filming in the summer and tell the origin of the White Walkers. This time, the history of the Targaryen family is the second spin-off series to be confirmed.

It is reported that the series is produced by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal. The story is set 300 years before "A Song of Ice and Fire" and is based on Martin's Targaryen history book "Fire and Blood".
