"Journey to the West" is adapted into a Sino-US-Japanese co-produced animated film "The Little Prince of Heaven" and the first concept map is released

According to news released by Sina Entertainment, animation teams from China, Japan, and the United States will jointly create and launch a large-scale animated film "The Monkey Prince" inspired by the Chinese classic story "Journey to the West". Recently, the film has been approved for filing at the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and the first 3D character concept map of the film has been released.

"The Little Prince" is co-invested by the ace animation company Tokyo Film Co., Ltd., and Zheng Zheng Creative Studio's Zhenhao Film, Double Happiness Film and Bona Film Group. The film brings together the top animation forces of China, Japan and the United States. Toei Animation is responsible for the production of film content, and the Hollywood team is responsible for creating a global story script. Chinese animation talents that have been rising in recent years will also participate in the production of important links of the film. The film will be aimed at the family-oriented global animation market. Representatives of the production company, Joseph Chou and Yoshiyuki Ikezawa, said: "Our goal is to establish a new channel for the future animation production industry, combining the American animation model, the unique Japanese production system and China's emerging talents to create a new cooperation model."

Aiming to enter the global animation market, "The Little Prince" has assembled a top international creative team to escort the film. The director will be John A. Davis ("Jimmy Genius", "Ants"), Oscar-nominated J. David Stem and David N. Weiss ("Shrek the Monsters 2", "The Smurfs") will be the screenwriters, Naoto Ohshima, who designed the characters for the world-renowned game "Sonic the Hedgehog", will be responsible for character design, and senior Japanese producer Takao Noguchi will be the character designer and assistant director. Toei Animation is a global animation production giant.
