The TV series "The Three-Body Problem", adapted from Liu Cixin's famous novel, will start filming in June

At the 2020 26th Beijing Television Program Fair Young Producer Forum held today (April 28), the famous screenwriter and producer Bai Yicong revealed that the TV series "The Three-Body Problem" was originally scheduled to start shooting in March, but was postponed to June due to the epidemic. He admitted that the filming location and plan of the project changed again and again, while also taking into account the safety of the crew.

The TV series "The Three-Body Problem" is directed by Yang Wenjun and is adapted from the science fiction novel of the same name by Liu Cixin. The series was officially filed in May 2019. Director Yang Wenjun has directed the movie "Silent Separation", the TV series "The Swordsman's Woman" and "The Legend of Fuyao".

In addition to the TV series, the film version and the animated version of "The Three-Body Problem" are also currently in production. The film version of "The Three-Body Problem" was approved as early as 2015, but for some reason no new news has been released; the animated version of "The Three-Body Problem" is produced by Bilibili, the Three-Body Universe and the producer Yihua Kaitian.
