According to foreign media reports recently, a prequel movie will be filmed for The Hunger Games. Lionsgate announced that it has begun working on turning The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel book of The Hunger Games, into a movie, directed by Francis Lawrence, the director of The Hunger Games 2/3, and written by Michael Arndt, the screenwriter of the second film.
