Renowned Swedish actor Max von Sydow dies at 90

According to the BBC, international film star Max von Sydow has died at the age of 90.

Max von Sydow (born Carl Adolf von Sydow) is a Swedish actor of French nationality. His most memorable film roles include The Seventh Seal (the first of 11 films he worked on with Bergman, including the iconic scene where his knight plays chess with the embodiment of death), and he was nominated for two Academy Awards.

Max von Sydow has played supporting roles in many films, including The Seventh Seal, The Exorcist, Dune, Billy the Hero, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game of Thrones, etc. It is worth mentioning that he also dubbed Esbern in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
