"Mulan" postponed in South Korea due to the outbreak of the new coronavirus

Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in South Korea, Disney Korea announced today that the live-action version of "Mulan" originally scheduled to be released in South Korea in March has been postponed, and the new release date is yet to be determined. Previously, many films scheduled for February and March in South Korea were withdrawn due to the epidemic, including the black-and-white version of "Parasite", Pixar's new animated film "Onward", and Park Shin-hye's new film "Call".

"Mulan" stars Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Gong Li, Jet Li, Li Jie, An Youxin, etc., and is directed by Niki Caro. It will be released in North America on March 27, and the release date in mainland China has not been determined. "Mulan" is a Chinese costume war-themed action movie created by Walt Disney and directed by Niki Caro. The film is a live-action remake of Disney's 1998 animated film of the same name. The content is adapted from Chinese folk legends and tells the story of a woman named Hua Mulan who joins the army in place of her father.
