Recently, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television issued the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of TV Drama and Online Drama Creation and Production". The notice requires that when submitting for filing and publicizing, a commitment has been made that the script creation has been basically completed; TV dramas and online dramas are firmly opposed to artificial "water injection", and it is recommended that the number of episodes should not exceed 40, and short dramas within 30 episodes are encouraged.

At the same time, during the review stage of the completed series, the production organization must submit a report on the allocation ratio of the production cost final accounts and copies of the actors' pay contracts to the relevant radio and television authorities for filing. The total pay of all actors in each TV series or online drama shall not exceed 40% of the total production cost, and the pay of the main actors shall not exceed 70% of the total pay.
