"House of the Dragon" will continue to shoot four seasons and the third season will begin production in 2025

At the press conference for the season 2 finale of the Game of Thrones spin-off series House of the Dragon, series producer Ryan Condal confirmed that House of the Dragon will still be filmed for four seasons. This is an answer to the audience's question of whether House of the Dragon will continue for five seasons.

Currently, Ryan Condal's team is writing the script for the third season, which is expected to start production in early 2025, which means that the third season of "House of the Dragon" will not be broadcast until 2026 at the earliest. In addition, Ryan Condal also revealed that the rhythm of the third and fourth seasons will be consistent with the second season, which means that the length of the series may be 8 episodes.

"House of the Dragon" is adapted from George R. R. Martin's novel "Fire and Blood". It tells the story of the Targaryen family. The timeline is set nearly 200 years before the story of "Game of Thrones", about 100 years after the Targaryen family unified the seven kingdoms.
