Animation producer Mendelsohn has passed away. He has produced a large number of "Snoopy" animated films.

Lee Mendelson was a famous American television producer. He served as executive producer and created many animated specials of the Peanuts comic strip. Many people may not know him very well, but the protagonist of the Peanuts comic strip, Charlie Brown, and his beloved dog Snoopy are household names. After a long battle with lung cancer, Lee Mendelson died at home on Christmas Day at the age of 86.

In 1965, Lee Mendelson brought "A Charlie Brown Christmas" to television and received a very enthusiastic response. From 1965 to 2000, Lee Mendelson, as a producer, and his team members dedicated 20 "Peanuts" animated specials to the audience who loved Charlie Brown and Snoopy, bringing laughter to children all over the world.
