IGN's initial review of "Lupin III THE FIRST": 7.5 points, good performance

The 3DCG animated film "Lupin the Third THE FIRST", adapted from Monkey Punch's "Lupin the Third", was released in Japan on December 6. IGN made its first review of this 3DCG movie today (December 27), and the film scored 7.5 points.

In its review, IGN stated that the 3DCG technology used in "Lupin the Third THE FIRST" gave the audience a brand new viewing experience, with excellent picture and texture, but this also caused the problem of the dubbing and the character's lip movements not matching well. This problem would not be so obvious in 2D images.

Although Lupin the Third THE FIRST has little to offer in terms of innovation other than the graphics, it is still a good film. It allows new viewers to learn about the world of Lupin the Third, and it also allows old fans to enjoy the familiar scenes. Whether it is 2D or 3D, some things will never change.

"Lupin the Third THE FIRST" is centered on the "Bresson Journal", a secret treasure that Arsene Lupin (Lupin I) failed to steal in the past. It describes how Lupin III and Leticia, a girl who loves archaeology, work together to solve the mystery of the secret treasure, but they discover a shocking fact behind it...
