Netflix's The Witcher reviewers release their first impressions without spoilers

Although Netflix's The Witcher TV series review will not be officially released until December 20, the first batch of media critics have received samples of the first five episodes and left their initial impressions on social media. As the official review partner, they are unlikely to spoil the show early, so interested friends can rest assured.

So far, all media critics agree that Henry Cavill, the actor who plays Superman, has amazing acting skills.

“I watched the beginning of Netflix’s The Witcher and I have to say I loved it! I’ll have a lot more to say once the review embargo is lifted. Great cast, clever story structure, and great pacing. Pure, quality fictional fantasy.”

"So... I've never been more hungry for Henry Cavill. I mean, I knew he was handsome but I didn't expect him to be this amazing.

I watched the first episode of The Witcher and, emm, I think I’m pregnant.” (Chicken cage warning)

“The fight choreography is insane. Geralt’s first fight is a brilliantly brutal swordfight. The combination of Geralt’s personality and his swordfighting style is perfect.”

“The Witcher has an exceptional cast in both the lead and supporting roles.”

"I can't break the confidentiality rules, but I'll use the following pictures to express my feelings. First of all, how did you make such a good film. Secondly, the scene with Henry Cavill and his old horse Radish simply moved me to death."

“Watched the sample of NetFlix's "The Witcher". I admit that as a big fan of the original book, I was a little worried before. But the screenwriter @LHissrich blew away my worries. The narrative is great and the casting is perfect. And Henry Cavill's acting, I can only say...WOW.”

The Witcher will be officially released on December 20, the same day as the word-of-mouth ban. The show was filmed in Hungary and stars Henry Cavill. Anna Shaffer plays Triss, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra play Ciri and Yennefer respectively.
