Disney CEO Bob Iger is currently promoting his new book. However, in a recent radio interview, he admitted that the release of the "Star Wars" series of films was a bit too intensive, so he plans to "slow down" appropriately in the future. Gizmodo reported: Bob Iger believes that Disney has produced and released too many "Star Wars" series films in a short period of time. Although he is not necessarily disappointed with their performance, he still thinks that it would be better if the series had fewer films. Previously, Bob Iger has also talked about similar issues, claiming that the original schedule and the amount of Star Wars content scheduled should be blamed on him. After the Han Solo (Hangouts Solo) independent film flopped at the box office, Disney finally decided to readjust its existing strategy. Even so, there are still many Star Wars movies worth looking forward to in the future. Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, recently announced that the Star Wars trilogy project of the DB brothers has been put on ice. However, the Mandalorian series will still be released on the Disney+ streaming subscription platform in 2019, and The Rise of Skywalker will also be released in theaters as scheduled. |
