Japanese anime theme park to launch Godzilla rides

The anime experience theme park "Second Dimension Forest" in Awaji City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan will launch a new attraction next summer, which will allow visitors to experience the power of a 120-meter-long "Godzilla". Visitors can play the role of researchers and enter the body of the crawling Godzilla from its mouth to complete tasks.

The facility is called "Operation Godzilla Counterattack - National Godzilla Awaji Island Research Center". Keiji Oota, director of Toho Co., Ltd., the copyright holder of Godzilla, introduced it at a press conference: "The permanent Tobi Godzilla based on Shin Godzilla is the first in the world. It has an overwhelming presence and power, and the plot of it monitoring the immobile Godzilla is also quite interesting."

Part of Godzilla's body is buried underground. The plot is set in that Godzilla, who landed on Awaji Island, was attacked and stopped. There are various attractions such as the "zipline" that uses pulleys to rush into Godzilla's body, and the shooting game that destroys the scattered Godzilla cells.

The Second Dimension Forest is located in the Awaji Island Prefectural Park and features a variety of sports and recreational facilities, including those based on popular anime such as "Crayon Shin-chan" and "Naruto."
